The Rest of August 2012

Christmas in August (or at least at Hobby Lobby).  Eva Brooke is READY!  She is in love with Santa and already knows she is asking him to bring the Beauty and the Beast movie.

Trying to give her artwork to Ariel.  Did I mention we are TOTALLY into the Disney princesses?!

Our first trip to the Buffalo Park in Tupelo with Emily and Hunter.  Lots of fun, but a miserably hot day!

Emily was even brave enough to ride a pony!

The girls were really excited about the gift shop, ha!

My girl makes me laugh with her style and poses!

Just threw this pic in here.  Why must plants die on party week?!!  I ran down to our local nursery looking for some replacements, and my sweet Andrew fixed them right up!

Our next-door neighbor, Alice, and Eva Brooke share the exact same birthday.  Alice's 2nd birthday party was the night before Eva Brooke's.  Eva Brooke looked like such a big girl sitting at the table, eating without Mommy's help!

We got a major downpour, and we let Eva Brooke go splashing.  Our princess doesn't mind the mud at all!

After her birthday party, having a tea party with Triton.

She thought it was fun to let the balloons hit the fan!

This pretty much sums it up about the pottying...

Playday outside

Reading one her favorite Llama Llama books from Aunt Deb

We love to eat lunch out on Sundays.  Here, Eva Brooke is running out in front of Kyoto.  She requested sushi and shrimp that day!  Did she eat it?  Of course not.

Llama Llama again.  She thinks the zebra on her PJ's is the zebra teacher in the book.

OK, she loves to sit in this DOLL pump-up beauty chair given to her by our babysitter-neighbor-church friend, Bailie.  One day I thought she was watching her movie, and then I realized it was just the menu screen playing over and over.  Never said a word!

Happy birthday, my best friend Angie!  Our Harvey's outing was sooo good!

Playdate and riding the carousel at the mall with Emily!

Storytime at the library.  EB was only this still for about 5 seconds.

HEALTHWORKS- Hospital employees could take their families for free on Saturdays in August, so we took Eva Brooke to check it out.

She was still a little young for most activities, but she did love this game where you run and step on the lights.

Eva Brooke's friend Charlie came over to swim one day!  They had tons of fun, and the Mamas did too!

Eva Brooke was STARVING after the swim.  She ate her first spaghetti-os (almost the entire can).  The spoon just wasn't getting them in fast enough, so she started using her hands!

One of EB's favorite things to do with Daddy- make coffee.  She could probably make better coffee than me!

Momma Lin gave EB her first ice cream cone, and now she can't get enough!

Wearing Mommy's shoes

Playing on Mommy and Daddy's bed

We have taken a potty break.  It has been a struggle, and we are both getting discouraged.  Gonna pick back up when she shows more interest.

We pulled out the raincoat for Hurricane Isaac!  Thankful for no damage!
