Vacationing

My Mom and Dad invited us to go to Pigeon Forge with them for a little getaway.  On October 25, we headed out, in two separate vehicles, of course!  We ate at one of our favorite places, Huck Finn's Catfish.  We are so grateful our little one is a pro-traveler.

We love to walk the streets of Gatlinburg at night.  Everything around was beautifully decorated for fall.  The leaves were starting to turn and were gorgeous.

There were some giant pumpkins, and Eva Brooke really got excited.

On October 26, the girls headed to the outlets while Dad and Andrew played some golf.  Eva Brooke was a good shopper, so she got to "ride" the horses.  I think you can tell how excited she was!

We had eaten a yummy meal earlier that afternoon, so we stopped at Shoney's for some hot fudge cake and strawberry pie later that evening.

They gave Eva Brooke her first crayons.  Pop was showing her how to color.  She was really into it, at least until that dessert came!

I held up a spoon of each dessert after she had tried them to see which one she liked better.  She just started giggling!  She likes sweets like her Mama!

On October 27, we headed out early and ate breakfast at the Apple Barn.  Boy, we like to eat!

EB really likes scarecrows this year and scaring everyone by saying "boo."

"Uh-uh-uh"-ing (hugging) her new "Melmo" toy.

Pop feeding EB some donut!  EB would see the Krispy Kreme box and say "mmm."

We had a balcony in our very-nice three story cabin, and Eva Brooke loved to take Mimi up to look down at us.

Who even knows how many times Mimi went up and down those stairs with EB...

Thanks to Pop and Mimi for a fun, laid-back vacation and for inviting us to stay with you.  It was stress-free, with lots of food, napping, shopping, and golf.  How much better does it get?!
