On January 9, it happened! The snow we kept hearing about finally fell in Mississippi. They built it up to be something serious, so I, too, went and got my bread, milk, and snowcream ingredients. This was a Sunday, and church was even called off that night (I do not ever remember that happening). We enjoyed a fun night playing in the 4 to 5 inches that covered everything in sight. Eva Brooke didn't think it was all that great and was ready turn in, just as if it was any other night.
Poor Andrew had to drive in the snow (which was not yet cleared from the roads) Monday morning to get to work. I guess those hospital patients do not care if it snows or not. The snow was still waiting on him when he got home, and he built us a snowman!
Cotton was kind of confused. One time she went outside and it was normal. Then, a couple of hours later...whoa baby! She was quite concerned that there was nowhere to do her business. Andrew cleared her out a nice spot, which she used for the next several days until it melted. Cotton did have some fun running through it (mostly the paths Andrew cleared making the snowman), which in turn balled up and froze/stuck to her nice long coat :)
It is strange for it to be snowing so much lately. We even had a chance of snow this past week, and today it is 73 degrees!! Gotta love the South!

| What is this falling from the sky?!? |
| Didn't mean to catch her in action, but as you can see, Cotton is nicely camouflaged. |
| This was just after a few hours of snowing. Enough to make a great batch of snowcream. |

| The next evening, on January 10 |
| Cotton and Andrew in action, building our snowman |
| Nice work! |
| Eva Brooke was much happier inside. She will understand one day! |
