Happy Thanksgiving!

Give thanks!  I am thankful for so many blessings, and especially this little blessing of life.  Being a mother has touched me in a way that compares to nothing else. 

Check out the adorable turkey shirt my mother made for Eva Brooke!  Mimi and Mama Lin are so thoughtful, and are always doing something for us. 

The Sweeney family hopes everyone has a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Now in November

November 2- Happy Birthday Cotton!  How many puppies get Filet Mignon treats? :) Thanks Mama Lin!

Mom, Dad, & Sis also gave Cotton some happies.  Cannot believe our "Baby" Cotton is 3 years old!

November 3- All dressed up for church on a Wednesday night

November 4- Can't get enough of these smiles!

November 5-  Eva Brooke gets to meet and visit with Mama Dean (Andrew's grandmother)

November 7-  It never fails.  Either Angie and I dress alike or our kids are dressed alike.  Eva Brooke and Hunter are wearing very similar "vintage" footed outfits to church.  The shirts only button halfway, and the pants have the very same waistband.  This was an outfit of mine (Mom thinks, could have been my sister Beth's).  We both completed the look with a sweater and coordinating crocheted paci clips.  No, we didn't plan this!

Finally!  Ole Miss won and Eva Brooke could wear her cute Ole Miss dress to church and KIT Team on Sunday night.  Go Rebels!

November 8- My thumb was feeling green, and I planted pansies in pots in the front and back yards.

Started holding onto blankets and toys well.  Tries to bring everything near her face.

Three months old today!  Wearing the sweet monogrammed shoes my Grandmother Fleeta gave her.  First time to wear them and almost too small already!

Finishing up October

October has come and gone!  Where does the time go?!?

October 24- Going to church in the sweet Feltman Bros. dress from Aunt Bobbie, which I wore home from the hospital almost 28 years ago.

October 26- A little windstorm knocked my flower pot off the table outside.... My SWEET husband tried to save it for me with duct tape!

Still October 26... "If you like pina coladas, and getting caught in the rain..."  Didn't rain all day, then took a walk and it found us!

We were all drenched except Eva Brooke.  Her stroller and carrier canopies kept her perfectly dry!

October 31- Going to church

Happy Halloween!

Our girl's first Halloween was so much fun.  We got to dress her up the way we wanted AND eat her candy.  It's just like having a baby doll (that cries and poops) all over again!  I'm pretty sure Halloween will be different from now on!!

October 23- Taken at a friend's house for our Halloween card.  I'm not sure she knew I was serious when I told her I'd like to use their BEAUTIFUL fall decor as our background.  We showed up one Saturday on their doorstep and they were so accommodating!  Thanks Kristen and Jonathan!

That evening, we went to the Halloween party at Barn Creek Church of Christ where my parents attend.  Eva Brooke was not such a good sport for pictures.  These are my sweet cousins Hannah and Tyler.

Look Who's Talking

Baby girl is full of life and energy these days.  She is smiling almost constantly, which means we are too!  Had to post a video of our sweetie talking it up with us.  This was taken October 28 with my Blackberry.  Life is good...

To Grandmothers' Houses We Go!

Eva Brooke made her first trip to Booneville for a cookout at Mama Lin and Granddad's on October 1.  We were so glad to get to visit with Syd & Deb, Dwain & Diane, and MomMaw Brown as well.

On October 7, Eva Brooke made her first visit to Hamilton to see Mimi and Pop.  Aunt Beth was also coming home for a little home cooking (how could we pass that up)?  We got to visit with Grandmother and Danny too for a little while.
