Vacation Time

On April 12, Eva Brooke and I went with my Mother and Daddy (hereafter referred to as Mimi and Pop) to the Smoky Mountains.  Since Pop is an early bird, we left REALLY early.  This pic was taken at Cracker Barrel at 6:34 AM (about 2.5 hours away!).

  She was a good sleeper on the ride there (and so was I).

4/13/11- As you can see, she has outgrown her carseat :(

Eva Brooke just went along with whatever we did.  We can already tell she's going to be an avid shopper.

Stopping for lunch while out shopping.  We came for the Rod Run car show in Pigeon Forge that Pop tries to make twice yearly.  Cars are just lined up on the main drag in Pigeon Forge.  Pop gets to walk and look for hours, and the girls shop and then pick him up!

4/15/11- We stayed at a BEAUTIFUL condo in Pigeon Forge, called RiverStone

4/16/10- Heading home!  Andrew was not able to take off from work and go with us.  We sure did miss him!

Splashing and Swinging

April 3- Eva Brooke was getting too big for her "lay-down" bathtub (sniff, sniff), so we found this one at Wal-Mart.  We took it outside and used it as a pool on one warm Sunday.

April 4- She really loves taking baths.  The duck tub even quacks when you squeeze its beak.

April 5- Mimi had come to visit.  We bundled EB up to go try out her new swing.

She was not exactly sure about it that night, and we were oh-so-disappointed.  However, since she has really become a fan.

April 6

We had to play the game, "what does the wind say," and blowwww to make her not afraid of the wind.  She is OK with it now.

April 23- She even dozes off in in her swing occasionally.  She loved the indoor baby swing a lot, too.  Since it has warmed up, she really grunts to go outside...especially when Cotton is going.  What a sweet little yawn!
