Thanksgiving at the Browns'

This year, we ate a wonderful Thanksgiving lunch with Andrew's mother's side of the family at the home of Dwain and Diane Brown (Andrew's uncle and aunt). Dwain and Diane's house tragically burned almost one year ago. They have rebuilt an absolutely gorgeous house and welcomed everyone over for Thanksgiving.

Had to include the pic again of Eva Brooke in her cute turkey shirt Mimi made.

That evening, Mimi, Pop, Beth, and Dusty came to visit and we ate our Thanksgiving supper at Cracker Barrel...for free! The manager did not charge us since he thought it took too long for us to receive our food. We didn't mind it at all, and we definitely didn't ask for him to do that. However, we were very "thankful," and we'll definitely go back! Hope everyone had a wonderfully yummy Thanksgiving!

The Strange Disappearance

Where is Eva Brooke's hair? Sometime during November, Eva Brooke lost her hair! It is now starting to come back in blonder, with the "buzz cut" look.

Back on October 11- Enough to put in a small bow!

By November 29, it vanished!

December 3- Bald and beautiful

Very upset about this, as you can see...

December 13- It is coming back!

Happy Birthday (and back to work) to Me!

I had another one of those birthdays back in November (they sure are rolling around more often these days), and our families came over to help me celebrate the big 28. We celebrated a few days before my birthday, on Friday, November 12, which was also my first day back at work. If I look a little tired, it was probably from the crying I did ALL WEEK in anticipation of this day (going back to work, not the party). I currently have 5 part-time jobs and am working about 2 days a week. My newest is at Home/Outpatient Infusion, which I really love, but has really been a learning curve for me. After I actually got to work this day, I had a great day and didn't shed another tear. This is mostly thanks to Linda (Andrew's mom), who is keeping our sweet girl while I work. I was so happy to see my blue-eyed girl that afternoon, and to party with the best family in the world.
